New IT standards for EHRs and EMRs, as well as FDA guidance, now require that labs report unique LOINC® test codes to reduce the possibility of error. Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics has taken the initiative to support the LOINC standardization by providing customers a recommended list of LOINC codes for the Siemens assays. The central laboratory assay information is available in the Siemens Document Library for our customers. Additional assays will be made available in the coming months.
Where do I find the LOINC mapping files?
- All LOINC documents are loaded on the Siemens Document Library. Click on the link to access the website.
- Customers and Siemens employees can register on the Document Library website and have access to these codes.
